The White Pines

The White Pines Resort is located one one of the largest lake sin Eastern Ontario. Predominantly surrounded by crown land, Black Donald/Centennial Lake is beautiful, serene and ideal setting for outdoor and nature enthusiasts. The lake is 27 miles tip-to-tip and boasts hundreds of miles of pristine forests and waters. Nestled in a mature pine forest, the wildlife is abundant, including moose, deer, bear, fox, wolves and otter. Bird enthusiasts will be overwhelmed with eagles, heron, osprey, ducks, and many songbirds. There are awesome opportunities for angling with walleye, northern pike, small and large mouth bass, and muskellunge. And there are loads of panfish for kids to catch. Our deer are unrivaled in size (just come in and look at my poor walls-all from living with three hunters). our year-round lakeside cottages have been recognized as the most beautiful well-maintained in the area. All 7 are well equipped with full kitchens, baths, decks, outside fire pits. The cottages open year-round also have fireplaces for you to relax and read by. Amenities include a new children's playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, and sand beach. Our marina welcomes boats and floatplanes of all sizes (gas available for both). Explore the lake by motor boats (rental's available), or have free access to our kayaks, canoes and paddle boat. Only 2 1/2 hours north of the Thousand Island Bridge at Gananoque, you can experience the most pristine and rugged wilderness without the huge travelling costs. Come and enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets in the Ottawa Valley, and listen to the symphony of the late night loon calls.
