The Clearwater-Pipestone Chain-of-Lakes offers an endless supply of breathtaking scenery and some of the best fishing and hunting in Northwestern Ontario. This chain of 11 lakes provides excellent fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern, lake trout and muskie, and you can enjoy your fishing from 16' boats complete with pedestal seats and 40hp 4-stroke electric-start Yamaha motors. The seaplane base at the end of our dock offers day-out fishing for those looking for something a little different!

Accommodations include 11 deluxe log cottages, all fully-modern with 3-piece bath, complete kitchens, thermostatically-controlled electric heat, ceiling fans, and color TVs. The lakefront cottages, each with a private deck, are well-spaced along our beautifully treed shoreline.

At Ross' Camp you have the "luxury of choosing your luxury"! Our Complete American Plan package is all-inclusive including meals and guide service. You may opt for a Housekeeping cottage at the main camp or a get-away cabin at our Loonhaunt Fly-in Outpost location.

• Walleye
  Direct boat access to 11 walleye lakes - some are crystal clear, others are a stained water body. Good walleye fishing all summer by changing lure/bait and presentation! Averaging 2 to 4 lbs. with trophy opportunities (10 to 12 lbs) as well.
• Bass / Smallmouth Bass
  The Clearwater-Pipestone chain-of-lakes provides endless smallmouth water to fish! 11 lakes - lots of smallies 2 to 4 lbs - good chance to play one over 5 lbs! Our fly-in outpost, Loonhaunt - rebuilt in 2004 - also offers great smallies!
• Northern Pike
  Northern Pike abound! Lots in the 5 - 10 lb. range with good opportunity to play one 15 lbs. plus!
• Trout / Lake Trout
  Good lake trout fishing at both the main camp and at the Loonhaunt fly-in outpost. They average 6-10 lbs. Fish with light tackle and 6-lb test line - lots of fun!!
• Muskie
  Clearwater Lake and Pipestone Lake are both great muskie water! Together they provide an excellent opportunity to play one from 47" - 52".

Hunting

• Deer
  Low hunter numbers. Good buck-to-doe ratio. Harvested bucks average an age of 4 1/2 years old. B&C scoring averages 140 to 160. All hunts are guided.
• Moose
  All-inclusive 8-day hunt package. Fully guided - mainly bulls - WMU 9B.

• Housekeeping Units
  Ross' Camp has 11 deluxe log cottages - all fully modern and all have a lakeside view from its own private deck. Choose from several fishing packages - angle for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern, lake trout and muskie.
• Outposts / Fly-In
  Loonhaunt is our fly-in outpost - an island retreat! Great fishing for smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout, and walleye. Solar-powered lights, hot/cold running water, shower - new cabin in 2004.
