Angling
Imagine a large bass leaping into the air after a bug and splashing 2 feet away from your buddy sleeping in the boat. A rude awakening. But, somehow up here it seems almost ok. Lot's of good fishing happens right from the dock in front of your cottage. Bass and walleye are easy to catch most days. The odd huge Northern Pike will sometimes take anything that you have just caught, such as one of those nice bass or walleye. An eye popping experience indeed whether you are 2 or 102 years old. The Brook Trout here are not to be confused with the tiny "brookies" caught down south in streams. The "brookies" here are quite big, averaging over a pound with some in the 2, 3 and 4 pound range or even larger. Nature and Adventures
